Guest lecturer on Parkinson's disease at the University of New South Wales
Danny is the Director of Rehab on the Road and an ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (UNSW). Her drive to start Rehab on the Road came from her experience in Neurological and Cardiac Rehabilitation. She noticed that the people she was treating found it difficult to get to the clinic, so wanted to bring Exercise Physiology to them. Danny's has gained her experience at the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at Prince of Wales Hospital and the Mental Health Unit at St Vincents Hospital. Danny has a diverse range of experience including working at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance with young adults with a variety of neurological conditions. Danny has extensive experience in Neurological Rehabilitation and has a strong passion to work with patients with Parkinson’s Disease.

Vanessa has always had a passion for sports and exercise, growing up with a love for competing in athletics, basketball, netball, touch football and soccer. She is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, having graduated from the University of Sydney in first place with first class honours and the University Medal. Since graduating, Vanessa has gained experience in a
variety of roles across both hospitals (public and private) and private practice, in Exercise Oncology, Mental Health, Parkinson’s Disease and Cardiac and Orthopedic surgery rehabilitation. She enjoys staying up to date with the latest research and is especially fascinated by the nuances of how a particular type and dose of exercise acts on the different
systems of the body in different ways.
